Responsibilities

• Receive on-the-job training related to the dynamics of the petroleum industry.
• Analyze and process business documents.
• Analyze accounting and financial data to prepare financial statement journal entries.
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepare tax information and assist in testing SOX and Non-SOX controls in auditing.
• Assist in preparing budgets and interface with various departments.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong academic performance in relevant coursework.
• Authorization to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week during the internship period.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
