About the position

The Commercial / Natural Gas Intern position at Energy Transfer is a twelve-week paid internship program designed for undergraduate or graduate students. The role focuses on providing support in natural gas trading, scheduling, and transportation capacity sales, while also offering opportunities to learn about the energy sector and develop analytical skills. The internship aims to equip students with practical experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn the basic principles of natural gas trading and scheduling
• Assist scheduling with daily nominations and confirmations
• Assist with trade input and scheduling in system application
• Provide support with daily pipeline set up and optimization
• Analyze data for better optimization decisions
• Provide analytical data from a multitude of system applications

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program majoring in business, energy management, real estate, or pre-law disciplines
• Completion of sophomore level courses
• Self-motivated individuals with involvement in activities outside college studies
• Above average GPA
