The Guidehouse Internship Program is designed to provide interns with a meaningful consulting experience by staffing them on real-world projects that showcase the Guidehouse culture. Interns will work closely with teams to deliver real-time results in support of clients, ensuring that they gain practical experience in the consulting field. Each intern will be paired with a Buddy, who will serve as a resource to help navigate the Guidehouse experience effectively. This internship spans a 10-week period during the Summer of 2025, anticipated to start on Monday, June 2nd, and conclude on Friday, August 8th. Interns will participate in various Learning & Development sessions, which include both E-learning and instructor-led training. Performance management will be a key component, with interns developing goals and participating in Mid-Point and Final Evaluations. Networking and social activities will also be integral to the program, alongside a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern Event and an Intern Speaker Series. Collaborative group projects will further enhance the learning experience. Interns will be involved in the Commercial Sustainability practice, assisting large corporations with transition strategies as they embark on their sustainability journeys. This includes a focus on energy transformation and decarbonization strategies. Interns will work in teams to create and present quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. Responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing data, identifying gaps and trends, and making recommendations related to baseline performance and established best practices. Key responsibilities may include performing technical and economic analyses, data collection, spreadsheet creation and management, assessing energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies, building and technology energy simulation modeling, field performance measurement, and providing detailed research and analysis on energy-related activities. Interns will also assess technologies, analyze trends, and develop strategies for utilities, government, and energy companies, while effectively communicating solutions and new strategies.
