About the position
The Content Creator & Associate Writer will be responsible for planning and producing engaging web content for Setlist.FM and other Live Nation properties. This role requires a passion for music and data, along with a proactive approach to content creation and collaboration within the editorial team.
Responsibilities
- Write 5-10 blogs weekly based on music news and site traffic data
- Assist Editorial Director in managing the editorial calendar
- Contribute ideas in weekly editorial meetings and brainstorm sessions
- Research and fact-check
- Interview artists
- Generate creative ideas based on site analytics and social trends
Requirements
- Must be a current student enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's program at an accredited college or university or a recent graduate
- A passion for live music and thirst for knowledge surrounding the live music industry
- Some experience writing - blogs, tweets, short-form is fine
- Demonstrate excitement to brainstorm and contribute in weekly editorial meetings
- Open to and comfortable with both giving and receiving feedback
- Carry out all assignments in an organized and timely manner
