About the position

The Autodesk platform content designer intern will play a crucial role in shaping the content experience across Autodesk's platform products. This position involves crafting product messaging, developer documentation, and unified taxonomy while collaborating with various teams to enhance the overall customer experience. The intern will engage in creative and systems thinking, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and customer research to develop effective content design outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about writing and has a curiosity for technology, aiming to contribute to meaningful projects within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn about writing for software products along the tapestry of UI and APIs
• Contribute to publish documentation and build taxonomies to keep terminology aligned across the company
• Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to understand, audit, and implement content recommendations
• Uncover mental models and interoperability with other Autodesk products and visual design directions
• Practice product discovery thinking to help shape the problem to be solved

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program in computer science, technical communication, human computer interaction or related, with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later
• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• Familiarity working with HTML or markdown
