About the position

Lumen is offering a 10-week summer internship program for students interested in digital innovation. The role of Contracts Analyst Intern involves evaluating customer requests for custom contracts, negotiating terms, and supporting the sales process. Interns will gain hands-on experience in contract negotiations, project management, and building relationships with key stakeholders, all while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requests from customers for custom or non-standard contracts.
• Negotiate with customers on non-standard contracting opportunities.
• Drive sales opportunities to final contract execution for profitable revenue growth.
• Ensure consistent application of terms and conditions in custom contracts.
• Minimize operational and financial risk exposure in custom contracts.
• Build working relationships with Sales Management, Product Management, Legal, and other stakeholders.
• Become a knowledge source on processes and alternative solutions.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
• Graduating between August 2025 and May 2026.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program.
