The Credit Analyst Internship at Mansfield is a dynamic opportunity for ambitious students pursuing careers in Accounting, Finance, and Risk. This internship is designed to provide practical, real-world experience in analyzing customer financial statements and assessing credit risk exposure, while also enhancing business communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in the Mansfield Internship Program
• Collaborate with external and internal contacts to procure financial data
• Perform in-depth industry analyses on an expansive customer portfolio
• Conduct advanced analysis of financial statements
• Articulate credit recommendations supported by Mansfield risk policy
• Utilize external tools such as Dun and Bradstreet, LexisNexis, Experian, Moody's, Standard and Poor's, Allianz, Ascot and more
• Empowerment to establish mutually beneficial relationships across Mansfield

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Risk, or a related field
• Preferred status as a Junior/Senior or completion of Intermediate Accounting I or relevant coursework emphasizing financial statement analysis
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to take initiative
