Intern - Crew Safety/Risk Management (Summer 2025)

About the position

Raising Cane's offers internship opportunities across functional areas of restaurant operations and support. As an intern at Cane's, you'll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams on relevant project work. Over the course of our 10-week internship program you will have the opportunity to work directly with a mentor in your field of study while contributing to supporting the growth of the company and building a professional network through work, events and program activities. Raising Cane's internship opportunities are on-site at our Dallas Restaurant Support Office in Plano, TX. The Crew Safety Intern will support the Crew Safety team by being involved in day-to-day project tasks while working alongside the Crew Health and Safety team.

Responsibilities

• Support Crew Safety initiatives by participating in project work on our Risk Management Information System (RMIS) with a focus on giving back time to our operators
• Support Safety & Security team with video audits and alarm coding
• Assist in execution of various components of and activities of assigned project(s): Captive Study, Crew Health & Safety Program review, Insurance Renewal Process
• Provide relevant knowledge and insights from educational experiences and gain valuable knowledge and experience
• Participate in intern activities and development opportunities

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Risk Management or Health & Safety
• 1+ years of volunteer or work experience in relevant field
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
• Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
• Microsoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
• Able to travel within the local area to various restaurants and events
