About the position
The Intern Customer Service Project Manager role at Lufthansa Technik Engine Services offers a unique opportunity for university students to gain hands-on experience in customer service and project management within the airline industry. Interns will be involved in monitoring team and contract performance KPIs, conducting research, and supporting customer status reports, all while working in a hybrid model that combines remote and onsite tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conducting research in ERP systems for clarifications and operational tasks.
- Supporting customer status reports by coordinating with different departments and IT systems.
- Performing data entry, processing, and analysis to support internal and external customers.
- Developing measures to keep a contract profitable in collaboration with the Account Manager.
- Performing support functions and deputized duties as directed by the assigned team manager or account manager.
- Completing all other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Must be enrolled in university for the entire period of the internship or be in a Gap Year between Bachelor and Master.
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Interest in the airline industry, especially in maintenance, repair & overhaul, material management, and customer relationship management.
- First work experience through relevant internships is advantageous.
- Self-confidence and a results-oriented focus.
- Computer skills, especially advanced knowledge in MS Excel.
- Must have a valid passport for the entire period of the internship.
- Must possess a valid legal work permit or fulfill all criteria to get a J1 visa for the U.S.
