About the position

The Hologic Summer Intern position for Customer Success/Service Sales Specialist offers an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a global team environment. Interns will engage in meaningful projects that impact customer relationships and service sales, while also developing skills necessary for their future careers. The role focuses on reaching out to dormant customers and promoting preventative maintenance services, providing a comprehensive learning experience over a 10-12 week period.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for summer promotion
• Manage quote/estimate generation
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met
• Manage weekly reporting
• Participate and engage in product training opportunities
• Participate in ad hoc projects focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship
• Majoring in Business, Finance, or a similar field of study preferred
• Rising Junior or Rising Senior
• Acute attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated strength in achieving great customer experience
• Passion for customer success in a competitive and changing market
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of ERP is preferred
• SalesForce experience desired
• High energy, self-motivated, proactive, goal-oriented
• Ability to work onsite at the San Diego, CA campus.
