About the position

As a Data Analytics Engineer Intern at Micron Technology, you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation in memory and storage solutions. Your role will be pivotal in transforming how data is utilized to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. You will collaborate closely with top engineers in the SpecTek and Probe Test Engineering teams, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. This internship is designed to provide you with practical exposure to data analytics, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in real-world scenarios. Your primary responsibilities will include retrieving, analyzing, and reporting data to optimize the efficiency of DRAM and NAND component test flows. You will work alongside SpecTek management to implement data-driven decision-making processes, ensuring that your contributions have a direct impact on the company's operations. Utilizing sophisticated reporting tools, you will present relevant data insights that will guide strategic decisions. In addition to data retrieval and analysis, you will develop models and reports using a variety of programming languages and tools, including Python, Pandas, Perl, C++, SQL, Hadoop, and JMP. Your role will also involve performing statistical analysis and machine learning tasks aimed at improving product recovery goals. Continuous improvement will be a key focus, as you strive to enhance product flows and efficiencies across Micron's manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

  • Retrieve, analyze, and report data to optimize DRAM and NAND component test flow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with SpecTek management to successfully implement data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Apply sophisticated reporting tools to present relevant data insights.
  • Develop models and reports using Python, Pandas, Perl, C++, SQL, Hadoop, JMP, and various data sources.
  • Perform statistical analysis and machine learning tasks to improve product recovery goals.
  • Continuously improve processes to achieve magnificent product flows and efficiencies across Micron manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Shown experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and environments like Pandas, Perl, Hadoop, and JMP.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sophisticated data sets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams.
