Lumen is offering a 10-week summer internship program for students interested in digital innovation, specifically within the Mass Markets organization as a Data Engineer intern. The role focuses on building machine learning models, developing data pipelines, and creating innovative AI applications, while supporting digital channels for mass market customers. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university
• Rising senior or graduate level education status at the start of the internship
• Graduating between August 2025 and May 2027
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Expertise in Python
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Familiarity with Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP
• Experience with React.Js and Node.Js
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the internship
