About the position

Lumen is seeking a Digital Content Creator intern for a fully remote, 10-week summer internship program. The intern will support the in-house creative agency by contributing to various projects, particularly focusing on B2B marketing assets for campaign motions, including graphics and videos for NFL sponsorships. This role emphasizes collaboration with peers across the creative team and requires a strong understanding of video production and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Support the in-house creative agency from concept through completion on various projects.
• Create B2B marketing assets for campaign motions, including stadium graphics and videos.
• Collaborate with copywriters, graphic designers, and UX professionals to achieve common goals.
• Ensure consistency with Lumen's visual brand identity while creating new on-brand work or modifying existing work.
• Assist in pre-production design, production/animation, and post-production video editing/motion graphics support.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, with rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
• Demonstrated proficiency in video editing, 2D animation/motion graphics, and excellent Adobe CC skills (AE, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Ability to work as a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed sense of visual language and ability to create storyboards or outlines.
• Proficient in MS Office (PPT, Word, Teams etc.) and knowledge of basic branding concepts.

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in design, color theory, animation, typography, and text graphics.
• Familiarity with video production best practices and evolving trends and techniques.

Benefits

• Hourly compensation ranging from $22.00 to $35.00 based on education level and experience.
