About the position

The Digital Content Marketing Intern will support the content marketing team in creating, curating, and managing engaging content for over 200 mall locations' digital channels. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and pop culture trends. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic marketing environment, collaborating with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding while also bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to enhance overall content strategies. Key responsibilities include assisting with social media content curation, email campaigns, website updates, and short-form video creation. The intern will be involved in copywriting for digital channels, developing engaging and persuasive copy for various platforms, including websites, email campaigns, and social media posts. Additionally, the intern will be responsible for creating and producing short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, staying updated on current video trends and best practices to create compelling content. The intern will also learn to use the company's Content Management System (CMS) to update and manage website content, assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media posts, and participate in daily calls to discuss the latest trends in social media and pop culture. Creative thinking will be encouraged through brainstorming sessions aimed at generating innovative ideas for digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Copywriting for Digital Channels: Create engaging and persuasive copy for various digital platforms, including websites, email campaigns, and social posts.
  • Short-Form Video Creation: Develop and produce short-form videos for social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, while staying updated on current video trends and best practices to create compelling content.
  • Learning and Using Internal CMS Tool: Gain proficiency in using the company's Content Management System (CMS) to update and manage website content.
  • Social Media Management: Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media posts across various platforms.
  • Trendspotting: Participate in daily calls related to the latest and greatest trends happening on social and in pop culture.
  • Creative Thinking: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for digital marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in digital channels and pop culture trends.
  • Ability to write creatively.
  • Understanding on how to create engaging short-form videos for social channels.
