About the position

Lumen is offering a fully immersive 10-week summer internship program for a Digital Librarian Intern within the Network Engineering team. The intern will focus on migrating applications from outdated storage solutions to a consolidated SharePoint library, enhancing documentation organization for better accessibility and data mining. This role emphasizes collaboration with various teams to execute a comprehensive migration strategy and provide training on the new system.

Responsibilities

• Migrate applications from old storage solutions to a single SharePoint library.
• Consolidate and organize documentation for easy data mining.
• Design a reusable strategy for document organization and migration.
• Identify and analyze existing sources and types of documentation.
• Implement a document migration strategy that preserves content and metadata.
• Test and validate the document migration and library structure.
• Provide training and support for documentation users and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, with rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
• Graduating between August 2025 and May 2027.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot.
• Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint.

Benefits

• Hourly compensation ranging from $22.00 to $35.00 per hour based on education and experience.
