About the position

Lumen is seeking a Digital Librarian Intern for a 10-week summer internship program within the Network Engineering team. The intern will focus on migrating applications from outdated storage solutions to a consolidated SharePoint library, enhancing documentation organization for better accessibility and data mining. This role emphasizes collaboration across teams to identify current documentation sources and execute a comprehensive migration strategy.

Responsibilities

• Migrate applications from old storage solutions to a single SharePoint library.
• Consolidate and organize documentation for easy data mining for Microsoft CoPilot.
• Design a reusable strategy for document organization and migration across the organization.
• Identify and analyze existing sources and types of documentation.
• Implement a document migration strategy that preserves content and metadata.
• Test and validate the document migration and library structure.
• Provide training and support for documentation users and stakeholders on using the SharePoint library and Microsoft CoPilot.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, with rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
• Graduating between August 2025 and May 2027.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft SharePoint.
