About the position

The DRAM Quality Data Analytics Engineer internship at Micron Technology offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team focused on enhancing the performance of DRAM chips through data analytics. Interns will engage in diverse tasks including automation, statistical analysis, and machine learning, while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Craft technical reports and presentations.
• Perform statistical analyses to improve DRAM chip quality.
• Engineer data ingestion pipelines for data processing.
• Maintain performance monitors and dashboards.
• Deploy machine learning models for data insights.
• Field various requests for technical information.
• Develop a keystone project to enhance critical thinking skills.
• Provide training to global teams on tools and insights created.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Fluency in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with basic DRAM operation and semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong collaboration skills with team members and other departments.

Nice-to-haves

• Deep understanding of statistics applied to data analysis, especially in reliability.
• Familiarity with common semiconductor reliability tests and failure mechanisms.
• Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, PowerBI, or JMP.
• Experience using Linux-based operating systems and cloud computing systems (GCP, AWS, etc).
