About the position

The Intern E-Mobility position at BMW Manufacturing Company offers students a hands-on experience in the E-Mobility sector, focusing on local production parts related to alternative powertrains. Interns will engage in practical tasks, contribute to team projects, and have the opportunity to implement their own ideas, fostering both personal and team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Ramp Up for all locally produced parts related to E-Mobility in the region.
  • Accomplish the related assigned tasks of the MN-E Team in the region.
  • Provide organizational support and coordination tasks related to alternative powertrain in the USMCA Region.
  • Establish a cross-functional international process to enable and structure the scouting process for alternative powertrain components in the region.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • First experience within the battery cell business or a chemical background in a related field within the alternative powertrain area.
  • Mechanical and/or commercial background.
  • Team player, preferably with an international setup.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from the current university.
  • Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
