As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Sargent & Lundy, you will be an integral part of our Electric Grid Infrastructure Services business unit, working closely with a project team to assist in the execution of various engineering projects. These projects may encompass the design of new systems or modifications and upgrades to existing transmission, substation, distribution, renewable, and battery energy storage systems. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience under the guidance of senior engineers, allowing you to apply and expand your academic knowledge in Electrical Engineering. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs. You will also engage in project reporting tasks, which involve tracking and evaluating project activities, monitoring project progress, and analyzing associated data. Additionally, you will be involved in power designs and the preparation of specifications for the procurement of major electrical power equipment and related installation services.
