About the position
The Hologic Summer Intern position in Engineering Innovation offers students the chance to engage in meaningful projects that contribute to global health initiatives, particularly in the fight against cervical cancer. Interns will collaborate with the engineering team, gain hands-on experience in product development, and utilize advanced prototyping and software tools in a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Hologic engineering team to research, design, and develop new products for the Hologic Diagnostics division.
- Build and test prototypes using tools like 3D printers and the machine shop.
- Gain experience with software analysis tools such as Solidworks, Matlab, Python, and C+.
- Explore research opportunities from both technical and business perspectives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
- Rising Senior preferred, majoring in Electrical, Mechanical, or Robotics engineering.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 / 4.0 preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time over the summer months.

Benefits
