About the position

The Facilities Chemical Systems Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting semiconductor manufacturing by collaborating with various engineering disciplines to design and maintain site facilities systems. This position emphasizes safety, quality, communication, project management, and technical analysis to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all required safety training and conduct work in accordance with safety policies.
  • Utilize job hazard analysis for work being performed and follow safety and environmental procedures.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives to reduce impacts and improve efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with facilities and manufacturing stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Manage projects to ensure deliverables are completed within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Analyze systems data to improve performance and drive cost savings.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for complex problems and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support corporate requests and assignments related to operational and procedural benchmarks.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or appropriate certification/licensing in Engineering, Semiconductor, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex analysis succinctly and effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate efforts across various groups.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Advanced PC skills including familiarity with MS Office and Micron's Work Order Program.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Engineering-Chemical or related field of study.
  • Three or more years of experience in a relevant field.
