About the position

The Facilities Chemical Systems Engineer Intern at Micron Technology, Inc. is responsible for collaborating with various engineering disciplines to design and maintain facilities systems that support semiconductor manufacturing. The role emphasizes safety, quality, communication, project management, and technical analysis to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all required safety training and conduct work in accordance with safety policies.
  • Stop work for safety if unsafe conditions are identified.
  • Utilize and review job hazard analysis for work being performed.
  • Follow safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns immediately.
  • Perform audits and submit good catches for safety and quality issues.
  • Communicate effectively with facilities and manufacturing stakeholders.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop solutions for critical metrics improvement.
  • Manage projects to ensure deliverables are completed within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Analyze systems data to improve performance and drive cost savings.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or appropriate certification/licensing in Engineering, Semiconductor, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex analysis succinctly and effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate efforts across various groups.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Engineering-Chemical or related field of study.
  • Three or more years of experience in a related field.
