About the position

The Financial Analyst Intern position at Navigant Credit Union offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. The intern will support the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team by engaging in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities, while also conducting market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions. Responsibilities

• Supports the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities.
• Conducts market research and analysis to provide insights on industry trends and competitor analysis.
• Helps in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborates with the investment committee to evaluate investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
• Participates in special projects and performs ad-hoc analyses as required by the FP&A team.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with financial analysis software or tools.
• Previous internship experience in finance or a related field.
