About the position

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern at XPO, you will have the opportunity to work with a professional team in critical areas such as forecasting, monthly operating reviews, and the annual long-term business plan/budget process. This is a 12-week program where you will assist in ongoing efforts focused on streamlining, improving, and automating recurring reporting and analysis. You will also complete competitive analysis to determine market trends and XPO's performance against the market, gaining exposure to presentations with senior leadership. Your role will involve engaging and communicating effectively with other professionals throughout the organization, participating in team meetings and projects, and acting as a key contributor to projects that impact the business and solve real problems. You will utilize accounting systems such as Oracle - Hyperion Financial Management, assist with reporting and analytics, and build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with internal customers, providing accurate and timely responses to inquiries.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • 2 or more years of relevant coursework
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
