About the position

The Kroger Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience designed to provide students with an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. This program is structured to offer competitive pay, hands-on learning experiences, exposure to senior leaders within the company, and professional development opportunities. Interns will spend their summer leading projects, refining their professional skills, and working alongside industry leaders while connecting with other students from across the country. The internship is open to all majors, and applicants must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0. It is essential for applicants to have work authorization that does not require future sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States. The program seeks highly motivated students who are eager to take initiative in their work, possess strong leadership skills, and can work effectively in both group settings and independently. Interns will be expected to manage multiple priorities, respond positively to change, and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail while preserving the confidentiality of information. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial, as interns will need to present information to various levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with the ability to handle significant levels of multi-tasking. Desired skills include the ability to analyze and interpret information to meet business needs, a commitment to customer service, and experience with tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics. Involvement in leadership and community activities, as well as a background in data analysis and practical experience with digital marketing, are also beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Assist retail and digital marketing managers with the development, execution, and measurement of campaigns related to lines of business.
  • Complete data collection and research, including all phases of planning, gathering, analyzing, and reporting the data.
  • Provide research on products, competitors, services, processes, and other informational needs.
  • Provide stores and divisions with support materials as requested.
  • Compile and organize data, summarize findings, and present conclusions to team members.
  • Create reports and other documentation in response to inquiries or requests in a timely manner.
  • Communicate status updates and any potential issues to the appropriate team members.

Requirements
