About The Position
First Merchants Bank is offering a 12-week paid summer internship program for highly motivated and enthusiastic college students pursuing a bachelor or master's degree. The internship will provide firsthand experience and understanding of the importance of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) within the workplace, as well as insights into how strategies supporting Employee Engagement positively impact all stakeholders. Interns will assist the Learning, Development & Performance Team with various tasks related to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and DEI Community Calls, while also providing support for Employee Engagement initiatives. Additionally, interns will participate in a community service project and have the opportunity to network with Senior Leaders during a final presentation event.
