About the position

The Intern II - SW Test Development Engineering position at Dexcom is a summer internship aimed at developing the next generation of talent in software testing and development. Interns will work within the Data Platform Test Engineering department, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of automated and manual test scripts, as well as creating verification and validation test plans. This role provides an opportunity to engage with innovative technology that impacts the lives of patients with diabetes, while also participating in professional development and social events.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building a new framework for testing.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts.
• Create verification and validation test plans, test reports, and traceability matrices.
• Record and track issues in the bug tracking system.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in software development or software testing.
• Experience with automated UI testing using Selenium and Python.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Robot framework.
• Strong understanding of API Testing and microservices.
