About the position

The Intern II - Test Engineering and Data Analysis position at Dexcom Corporation is designed for aspiring scientists or chemical engineers who are eager to work with innovative technology in a hands-on laboratory environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and testing of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology, while gaining valuable experience in sensor development and data analysis. Interns will work closely with a dynamic team of engineers and technicians, participating in meaningful projects that impact their early career development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sensor functional testing and electrochemistry experiments.
  • Support algorithm development and data analysis tasks.
  • Follow established test procedures and perform tests consistently in a laboratory setting.
  • Make experimental observations and propose hypotheses based on collected data.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot test equipment and evaluate experimental designs.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled Master's, JD, or PhD student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later.
  • Completed Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with laboratory analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in working with electronics and computer software.
