About the position

The User Experience Researcher Intern at Dexcom will engage in product research to inform the development of innovative solutions for diabetes management. This role is designed for students or recent graduates who are passionate about user-centered design and eager to contribute to impactful projects within a leading health technology company. Interns will work closely with various stakeholders to gather insights that drive product innovation and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary user research to guide product development.
• Uncover insights from patients, family members, and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and other teams to understand research needs.
• Utilize various research methodologies to gather data on user behavior and expectations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's, JD, or PhD program in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in conducting user research, including recruiting, moderation, analysis, and report writing.
• Familiarity with user-centered research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing.
• Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data.
