About the position
The Intern, Industrial Design Summer 2025 position at Kohler Co. offers an opportunity for students or recent graduates to engage in the development of innovative kitchen and bath products. This hybrid internship allows participants to contribute to design projects, collaborate with experienced designers, and gain hands-on experience in industrial design, all while being part of a company committed to sustainability and quality.
Responsibilities
- Participate in problem-solving exercises with the Industrial Design staff and/or project teams.
- Contribute in concept development through sketching, CAID, and construction of mockups.
- Assist designers with model making.
- Assist in presentation preparation which will include mounting of drawings/renderings and construction of presentation stands.
Requirements
- Junior, Senior, Master's level, or recent graduate (within 1 year) from an accredited school or college of industrial design with academic emphasis on product industrial design.
- Course work on graphic design is helpful.
- Relevant work experience in industrial design, graphic design, engineering, or architecture is helpful.
