About the position

The position involves reviewing and analyzing processes in the manufacturing and electronics departments at Crystal Group. The role focuses on providing technical assistance for process improvements and implementing new equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency. The candidate will engage in continuous improvement projects, ergonomic assessments, and safety audits, ensuring that the company maintains high standards in operations and employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes, production equipment, and methods for continuous improvement projects.
• Design, review, and evaluate the manufacturing processes of new and existing products, including ergonomic assessments, productivity improvements, manufacturability, and cost improvements.
• Develop capital expenditure proposals and perform cost justifications for new equipment.
• Conduct studies in operations to maximize workflow, material routing, and spatial utilization.
• Provide technical assistance and engineering support in the form of process improvement, including performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative and corrective actions as required.
• Conduct safety audits/assessments, identify and work with management to resolve safety issues, and ensure that accepted corrective actions are implemented.
• Decide how the company should allocate its equipment and labor within the framework of existing physical constraints and budget.
• Represent Crystal in the most positive manner with prospective and current suppliers and the community.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing processes and production equipment analysis.
• Strong technical skills in process improvement and engineering support.
• Ability to conduct ergonomic assessments and safety audits.
• Experience in developing capital expenditure proposals and cost justifications.
• Knowledge of workflow maximization and material routing.
