About the position

The American Bankers Association (ABA) is offering a paid internship for students, providing a unique opportunity to work with one of the largest trade associations in Washington, DC. This internship is designed to give students substantial work experience across various divisions, connect with leadership, and build a professional network while contributing to impactful projects in the banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Support ABA's Salesforce based Association Management System.
• Perform analysis for business and system optimization, report writing, and data quality improvements.
• Assist with writing, prioritizing, and testing user stories in Azure DevOps to support Nimble/Salesforce projects and enhancements.
• Use data quality reports from Nimble and Salesforce to identify and resolve data quality issues, such as duplicate organizations and individual records.
• Document and monitor system interfaces to ensure operational efficiency and business continuity.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Understanding of database concepts (relational and object oriented) and SQL.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and/or Azure DevOps desired but not required.
• Rising Sophomore/Junior/Senior standing with a major in Computer Science or Business Information Systems.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
