About the position
The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Intern position at Sphera offers an opportunity for students in their final year of master's or Ph.D. programs to engage in sustainability consulting. The intern will support the execution of LCAs and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) while working alongside a global team of sustainability professionals. This role is designed for individuals passionate about environmental sustainability and looking to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research related to Sustainability and the measurement of environmental impact
- Support the execution of LCAs and EPDs with Sphera's LCA For Experts software
- Support feasibility studies, market analyses, and data development
- Prepare presentations and reports
Requirements
- Preferably studying for a master's degree or higher in an engineering discipline such as chemical engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering, energy technology, or a comparable course of study
- Good academic record, particularly in the areas of math and science
- Ability to stay organized to manage various project tasks and deadlines
- Ability to digest and synthesize research from technical journals and research papers
- Must be familiar with MS Office and skilled in MS Excel in particular
- Ability and willingness to learn new concepts, skills, and software
