About the position
Rockwell Automation is seeking talented students passionate about engineering and product development, particularly in power electronics, mechatronics, or embedded hardware. This position offers the opportunity to engage in design analysis, lab testing, and prototype evaluation for next-generation motion control products, providing a dynamic and hands-on product development experience alongside experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct design analysis and modeling for motion control products.
- Perform lab testing and prototype evaluation.
- Engage in technical investigations related to product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Junior/senior undergraduate or graduate student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
- Experience with motion control systems, robotics, mechatronics, or power conversion equipment.
- Basic knowledge of circuit theory and operation, including microprocessors and digital logic devices.
- Experience with test automation using Python.
- Experience with development of SharePoint Websites.
- Familiarity with AI tools & services for hardware design and development.
