About the position

The myQ Mobile Developer Internship at Chamberlain Group offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in mobile application development. Interns will work on real projects that contribute to the company's business strategy, focusing on developing mobile experiences using Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android. The program emphasizes skill development, mentorship, and networking, providing interns with valuable insights into the tech industry and access to leadership within the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop elements for mobile projects
• Assist in implementing layout and functionality specs
• Assist Development team in completing projects on time
• Participate in the brainstorming of user experience (UI/UX) and mobile development solutions
• Contribute to multi-screen development including implementation of mobile-responsive design

Requirements

• Experience creating native mobile applications in either Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android)
• Must be able to work from our Oakbrook, IL office (15 miles west of Chicago) 3 days a week

Nice-to-haves

• Rising Senior standing towards a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields of study from an accredited college or university
• Completed mobile development online courses or bootcamps
• Functional knowledge of Version Control Systems (GIT)
• Awareness of the latest development trends and ability to adapt these trends into mobile functionality
