About the position

Lumen is offering a 10-week summer internship program for students interested in digital innovation. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management within the Enterprise Operations organization, specifically on the Custom PMO team. Interns will engage in various project activities, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to the delivery of custom networks for customers. The program is designed to empower interns and help them reach their full potential while supporting Lumen's commitment to innovation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate various assigned project activities, including gathering and reviewing data using company resources.
• Compile and format data into a finished product and obtain necessary approvals to meet management timelines.
• Support project-based work across various customers, focusing on custom networks and hyperscaler customers.
• Act as a conduit between customer-facing teams and the larger custom networks organization for delivery.
• Manage project management opportunities around reporting, overlap, and ad hoc tasks as they arise.
• Engage with every aspect of the business, including sales, design, installation, and construction.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, with rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
• Graduating between August 2025 and May 2026.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Benefits

• Hourly compensation ranging from $26.00 to $43.00 per hour based on education level and experience.
