About the position

The US Foods Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for students to apply their academic knowledge in a practical business environment. Interns will engage in business-impacting projects throughout the summer, gaining valuable experience and insights into the food distribution industry. Each intern will be paired with a manager who will provide regular guidance and performance feedback, as well as a mentor for day-to-day support. This program is designed to foster professional growth and development, allowing interns to interact with US Foods' executive leadership and participate in various learning and social events with fellow interns across different business functions. At the end of the internship, participants will have the chance to present their accomplishments to key business leaders, showcasing their contributions and learning experiences. The internship is a full-time paid position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week from June to August. There is potential for interns to transition into full-time roles post-graduation, contingent on performance and availability. The position is classified as Hybrid, meaning that interns will work both onsite and remotely. It is important to note that US Foods cannot accommodate students requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, such as OPT, F-1, or H-1B visas. Local candidates are encouraged to apply, and those whose permanent home is outside a 50-mile radius from US Foods Corporate HQ may receive a sign-on bonus to help offset housing costs during the internship.
