About the position

The US Foods Summer Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for students to apply their classroom skills and academic training in a real-world business environment. Interns will be assigned impactful projects throughout the summer, allowing them to gain valuable experience in product analytics within the food distribution industry. Each intern will be matched with a manager who will provide regular guidance and performance feedback, as well as a mentor for day-to-day support. This internship is designed to foster professional growth and development, offering exposure to US Foods' executive leadership and opportunities to participate in various learning and social events with fellow interns across different business functions. At the end of the summer, interns will have the chance to present their accomplishments to key business leaders, showcasing the skills and knowledge they have gained during their time with the company. This position is classified as Hybrid, meaning that interns will have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely. The internship is a full-time paid position, requiring 40 hours of work per week from June to August, with the potential for transitioning to a full-time role post-graduation based on performance and availability. It is important to note that US Foods is unable to provide internships to students requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, such as OPT, F-1, or H-1B visas. Local candidates are encouraged to apply, and for those whose permanent home is located more than 50 miles from the US Foods Corporate HQ, a sign-on bonus will be offered to help offset housing costs during the internship.
