About the position

The Product Data Analyst Intern position at American Modern Insurance Group is a 12-week summer internship designed for students pursuing a degree in Data Analytics or a related field. The role focuses on conducting in-depth data analysis to provide actionable insights that drive business development, particularly within the Collector Vehicle program. Interns will gain practical experience, build professional relationships, and contribute to the success of the organization while enjoying a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis for the Collector Vehicle program to identify areas of improvement.
• Query and organize data from SQL and Cognos.
• Assess the impact of underwriting decisions on overall risk exposure.
• Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
• Proficient in SQL and MS Office 365 tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Notes, and Teams.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
