About the position

The position is an internship role at CoreLogic, focused on collaborating with cross-functional teams to document and support the integration of APIs. Interns will receive guidance from experienced team members while engaging in various activities that enhance their understanding of technical features and functionalities. The role emphasizes the importance of clear communication and documentation, as well as participation in the company's internship program activities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information and understand technical features and functionalities of our APIs.
  • Organizing complex technical concepts into structured and coherent documentation that caters to varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Creating API guides, reference materials, code samples, and tutorials to help developers integrate and use our APIs effectively.
  • Tracking project information, following up on issue status, resolving routine issues, and reporting status to management.
  • Participating in Internship Program activities and events, including onboarding, educational activities, information sessions, product demos, and social events.
  • Providing general administrative support as needed.
  • Participating in special projects and performing other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program pursuing a related degree at an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant coursework completed.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of API concepts, RESTful API design principles, and HTTP protocols.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and engaging technical content for a developer audience.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or others, to understand and articulate code examples.
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team and matrix management structure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid analytical capability and strong decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of quality orientation.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills; ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior internship or co-op experience preferred.
  • Participation in campus activities related to field preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities, educational forums and/or prior work experience.
