About the position

The Data Analyst intern at Micron Technology will play a crucial role in enhancing the business planning process through collaboration with various departments and stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
  • Propose innovative and practical solutions to enable fact-based decision making.
  • Develop analytics solutions using Python & data architectures using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Utilize linear regression, classification, and other statistical methods to enable smart forecasting.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to all team members and executives from the Storage Business Unit.
  • Recommend process improvements and assist in their implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Statistics or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Must be a current student, must not graduate before September 2024.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Python & SQL is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.
