About the position

Epsilon is seeking a Data Visualization Intern to create innovative visualization systems that showcase the business value of its digital marketing platform. This role involves working with vast amounts of data to develop effective visualization tools that answer business questions in an engaging manner. The intern will participate in a 12-week summer program designed to provide professional development, hands-on training, and networking opportunities, with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative visualization systems for internal analysts, customers, and stakeholders.
• Research and recommend best approaches to solve technology and business problems.
• Develop effective visualization tools to answer business questions.
• Collaborate with a highly supportive and positive team.

Requirements

• PhD level candidates with significant experience in data visualization and/or visual analytics.
• Solid understanding and experience with data visualization principles and tools.
• Practical real-world UX/UI experience.
• Solid JavaScript or TypeScript programming skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data science, clustering, and machine learning.
• Experience with statistics and big data analytics techniques.
• Familiarity with D3.js, WebGL, or Three.js.
• Expert level Tableau skills with a portfolio of advanced charting.
