About the position

Epsilon is seeking a Data Visualization Intern to create innovative visualization systems that showcase the business value of its digital marketing platform. The role involves working with vast amounts of data to develop effective visualization tools that answer business questions in an engaging manner. Interns will participate in a 12-week summer program designed to provide professional development and networking opportunities, with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Create effective visualization tools to answer business questions.
• Research and recommend best practices for visualization solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop innovative visualization systems.
• Gain a basic understanding of digital marketing and Epsilon's personalization platform.

Requirements

• PhD level candidates with significant experience in data visualization and/or visual analytics.
• Solid foundational understanding of data visualization principles and tools.
• Practical real-world UX/UI experience.
• Solid JavaScript or TypeScript programming skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data science, clustering, and machine learning.
• Experience with statistics and big data analytics techniques.
• Familiarity with D3.js, WebGL, or Three.js.
• Expert level Tableau skills with a portfolio of advanced charting.
