About the position

The Project Management Coordinator Intern at EquipmentShare is designed for students seeking hands-on experience in project management within a corporate environment. This internship offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work on various team and independent projects, providing a comprehensive understanding of the business operations and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Track progress on project deliverables and provide regular updates to project managers.
  • Help coordinate team meetings, create agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Assist in creating reports and dashboards to communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all project-related documents are organized and stored appropriately.
  • Assist in assigning and tracking tasks for team members.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure that tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Use project management tools (such as Monday.com) to track project progress.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining project management software for tracking tasks, timelines, and milestones.
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings to develop project management skills.
  • Shadow experienced project managers to learn about different project management methodologies.

Requirements

  • Must be actively working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Communication, Management, Marketing or related field.
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Google Suite.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Strong desire to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.
