About the position

The Molina Healthcare Internship Program aims to provide students and alumni with experiential learning opportunities in the healthcare business profession. The MA Network Summer Intern will support provider data validation projects related to the expansion of the LOB under the MA RFP for 1/1/2026, ensuring data accuracy for network reporting and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ongoing quality assurance activities related to provider data.
• Validate and update provider affiliations, service locations, and provider type audits.
• Prepare target initiative reports for PR/Network Contracting staff.
• Manage bulk tickets for PDM.
• Oversee provider data cleanup and transition monthly maintenance activities to PR staff upon internship completion.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a freshman or sophomore with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Population Health, or Public Health.
• Possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Computer experience including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and comply with HIPAA.
