About the position

The Quality Engineer Intern at Plexus plays a vital role in ensuring that customer quality and regulatory requirements are met. This position serves as a key liaison between manufacturing and customers, providing the intern with hands-on learning and mentorship opportunities to gain valuable experience in quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate resolution of proactive quality initiatives, continuous improvements, preventative actions, and mistake-proofing.
• Facilitate resolutions of reactive quality initiatives including containment, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer issues.
• Utilize statistical analysis tools and methods for problem solving, specifically the DMAIC process.
• Facilitate quality-related activities associated with customer product introductions within APQP and maintain relations and expectations of the current customer base.
• Monitor processes through auditing and metrics to ensure product health.

Requirements

• Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Engineering for the entire duration of the internship.

Nice-to-haves
