About the position

Rockwell Automation is seeking aspiring engineers for a paid summer internship through the Rockwell Engineering Pathways Program (REPP). This program offers hands-on exposure to the industrial automation industry, allowing interns to engage in various engineering disciplines such as hardware design, cybersecurity, embedded software development/testing, and web development. Interns will work on a team project, learn about Rockwell products, network with experienced professionals, and receive personalized mentorship throughout the summer.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in hands-on engineering development team projects.
  • Learn about and utilize Rockwell Automation products.
  • Network with experienced engineers and technical leaders.
  • Receive personalized career mentorship.

Requirements

  • Current standing as a high school junior, senior, or college freshman pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Legal permanent authorization to work in the US.

Nice-to-haves

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  • Demonstrated interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and Ladder Logic.
  • Extracurricular involvement with STEM-related activities.
  • Demonstrated locality to the greater Milwaukee, WI or Cleveland, OH areas.
