Intern - Semiconductor Quality Assurance Engineer

About the position

As a Front-End Central Quality Assurance (FECTQA) Engineer Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., VA, you will support QA engineers in improving semiconductor product quality and enabling shipment of high-quality semiconductor chips to customers. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following duties below.

Responsibilities

• Use data analysis tools to extract data, analyze holds for SBL, recommend product disposition and execute disposition.
• Develop QA dashboards and/or automated reports using R/Python/Tableau.
• Develop interactive web API dashboards, and also predict wafer/die level quality prior to electrical testing.
• Automate product dispositions and risk assessment quality reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Materials Science, Microelectronics, and/or Data Science.
• Basic coursework in semiconductor device physics and/or fabrication.
• Basic coursework in statistics, probability theory, and machine learning.
• Good oral and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills in using Python for Data Analysis, Visualization, and Machine Learning.
• Strong skills in developing Web APIs to deploy Machine Learning models.
