About the position

The New York Post is seeking a Social Media Intern for the fall to assist the influencer marketing and franchise growth team. This role involves engaging with audiences across various social media platforms, creating original content, and enhancing brand awareness through strategic interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with the audience on New York Post, Page Six, and Virtual Reali-Tea social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Whatsapp.
  • Like, comment, respond, and share content appropriately in the tone of the brands.
  • Identify lookalike platforms to engage with and grow brand awareness.
  • Edit and package photo galleries for social media posting.
  • Contribute to the creation of engaging, original content such as Memes, Reels, and polls.

Requirements

  • Great news judgment.
  • Awareness of trending topics on social media.
  • Experience in content creation.
  • Experience with video and photo editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and Canva.

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Passion for news-related content.
