About the position

The Social Media Intern will play a crucial role in enhancing the social media presence of Simon shopping centers by creating engaging content for Instagram and TikTok. This position involves capturing the unique stories of various shopping locations, collaborating with local marketing teams, and aligning with corporate strategies to promote exclusive deals and events. The internship is flexible to accommodate school schedules and runs through December 2024.

Responsibilities

• Craft eye-popping visuals and killer captions for social media posts.
• Stay ahead of the curve on the latest Instagram and TikTok trends.
• Master the art of hashtag usage to boost discoverability.
• Produce snappy, shareable TikToks that showcase the brand's personality.
• Foster community engagement by responding to comments and DMs.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• An insatiable love for Instagram and TikTok.
• Creativity and strong content creation skills.
• Tech-savvy and familiar with social media tools and trends.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising between local and corporate teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
